Northcott's Game

Martin J. Chlond

Northcott's Game is played on a chessboard or other similar board. Each player has a piece on every file (vertical column) and he is allowed to move it any number of squares up or down the file. He may not jump over his opponent's piece, nor move a piece to another file. The winner is the player who makes the last move.

Click and drag a piece to a legal square for your move. The computer will then make it's move. Check the status bar for messages. Reload page at any time to start a new game.
